Successful First Forum on the Greatest Story in Global History Held in Bangkok

Bangkok (Thailand) – June 17, 2019 (travelindex.com) – The “First Forum on the Greatest Story in Global History” was recently held at the Arnoma Grand Hotel in Bangkok. Tourism Authority of Thailand Governor Yuthasak Supasorn brought along a team of high-level TAT executives to attend this inaugural Forum.

Organised by Imtiaz Muqbil, Executive Editor of Travel Impact Newswire, Thailand’s second longest serving travel trade journalist, the forum was the first curtain-raiser event in the build-up to 2020, when both the TAT and Thai Airways International will be marking the 60th anniversary of their founding.

Other participants included Mr Siripakorn Chaewsamoot, Deputy Governor for Policy and Planning, TAT; Mrs Chutima Wongvibulsin, Senior Manager – Marketing Support & Development, Meetings and Incentives Department, Thailand Conventions and Exhibitions Bureau; and Prof Nathsinee Chinthanapoompaisal, Head of Tourism Management, Dusit Thani College.

All participants were amazed and enthralled by the amazing amount of historical data, facts and stories presented by Mr. Muqbil, and asked for more! They all agreed that the content of the Forum should be integral part of tourism studies in Thailand.

The TAT Governor has invited Imtiaz Muqbil to do a follow-up presentation at the annual TAT Marketing meeting in Udon Thani, July 1.
